Architect Arthur Quarmby designed the 371sqm house which was built in the mid 1970s on raised land in the picturesque Peak District in the UK.
The Quarmby family have lived at the Woodhead Road property for the past forty years, enjoying the impressive views of Upper Holme Valley and the Peak National Park.
The four-bedroom house, called Underhill, is on the market for the first time for £700,000 through agents WM Sykes.
Underhill is designed around a central entertaining and living area with a 15-metre high ceiling and large skylight that sits above the impressive indoor pool.
The property also features stone walls, stone arches and twenty-metre wide sliding doors leading to the terrace.
The four-bedroom home also has a play room, plant room, utility room, kitchen, study, dining room and music room.
The cononical shaped room is called the cave and it has stone walls and an open peat fire.
There is also a separate garage and workroom on the near half-hectare block.
