Robin Wright’s character in House of Cards is synonymous with polished perfection and her new offscreen home is no exception.
The actress has reportedly paid $US3 million for a stylish pre-war two-bedroom apartment in New York’s West Village.

According to the property listing, the apartment has been renovated meticulously and offers entry through a foyer to a spacious living and dining room.
The three-metre ceilings add to the spacious feel, while restored casement windows offer north-facing views of the city skyline to the Empire State Building.

The living room features a marble-clad wood burning fireplace and a door to a small balcony, while solid oak floors and doors feature throughout.
The stylish kitchen features custom-made cabinets and a white marble island bench, Gaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances and a windowed pantry.
There are two good-sized bedrooms and a spa bathroom with heated floors.

Wright joins a host of other celebs who have reportedly bought in the West Village, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Ben Stiller and Michael C. Hall.
House of Cards has been renewed for a fifth season, which will see Wright return as First Lady Claire Underwood, opposite Kevin Spacey.
